I was just working on balancing my budget on mint and then decided to fiddle around with their comparison graphs and what not which led to the discovery that in the last year my “net worth” has increased by $396.
1) It’s weird to even think I have a “net worth”
2) I was surprised how excited I was that it had gone up
All in all, “net worth” is still a weird thing to think about having, and technically I think it has probably gone down because my car’s worth is figured in there and there’s no way that hasn’t gone down since I updated it last year - I just don’t want to know how much less it is worth.
Oh dear god, why did I just check Kelly Blue Book? Because I’m terrible, and my car’s worth has gone down roughly $1,500. Ouch.
