After certain events this past weekend meant we really didn’t get anything done on Sunday I’m going to spend the day wrapping presents and working on the house. It’s a three day work week so I’ll only be gone Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday which means I should have plenty of time to get things done today and Friday. I still have some shopping and errands to run before Christmas, and the dog needs grooming, but after the hub-bub I ran into last Friday I’m not too keen on heading into that fray again. I’m contemplating if the rest of my shopping can’t be done online so I can save myself the headache…we’ll see.
Since I started wrapping presents yesterday there’s a nice tidy pile of gifts under our tree (most of them will need to be delivered to their recipients, but for now I like having them there) which is making it feel a bit more like a holiday despite the half-done house projects that litter our lives right now.
So yes, off to wrapping and tackling my desk area and maybe hanging some things on the wall.
