Last night a colleague of Richard’s offered up some extra tickets to the Badger game today so he went with another teacher and he’s gone for the rest of the day and I really don’t have any plans.
I’m contemplating unpacking, reorganizing, and cataloguing (there’s an app for that) all of our media. I’ve been meaning to make a database of my record collection because I constantly pass up albums at thrift stores because I can’t remember if I wanted it or if I already have it. The cataloguing is what is going to take the longest, since there are no barcodes on (most of) my records so everything will have to be input manually, but I’m actually excited to get this done even if it means I drop a few more dollars each month on records. Then again, it will probably also result in discovering a few duplicates or lousy music that I’ll be able to get rid of.
Really, I should just take the first step of figuring out what to make for lunch, and then go from there.
