Alright kids,
I plan to stay in bed pretty much all day tomorrow.
I need some movie suggestions. If they’re streaming instant on netflix, all the better.

Sometimes I’m reminded that I have some truly awesome people in my life.
I received all sorts of get well wishes and good lucks, and I appreciate every single one of them.

So, it’s ten minutes till 3 PM, and someone is finally clearing the lot.
And it’s a bit obvious that he’s new as he is majorly sucking it up. Also, I anticipate that after another two snows we won’t be able to get to the dumpsters because of the giant pile of snow he is putting directly in front of them…yeah.
Dear Building Management,
When you send us a letter saying that when it snows our cars MUST be moved by 10 AM from the parking spaces we pay extra for so the lot can be plowed OR ELSE we will be ticketed and towed it would be in your best interest if you then actually plowed the lot.

It feels like my life has turned into sleeping, with random waking in order to take medicine and eat.

Frankly, I really thought I’d be on tumblr more. You know, cause I’m really not leaving the house at all. But between the drug-induced sleep, and the random times I’m awake, and how functional (or nonfunctioning) I am it just isn’t happening. The home stretch
I’m nervous. Tomorrow is the surgery. I don’t yet know what time I’m going in, I’ll get a call sometime this afternoon, but Richard has taken tomorrow off so he’ll be able to take me to the hospital whenever it is. His students were apparently shocked to hear he wasn’t coming in as this is the first day off he’s taken since he got the job three years...
After photo club today Richard and I went to explore the school’s dark room which hasn’t been used in years. In fact the only use this thing is getting is as a storage closet for the art teacher’s art horses. And the art teacher doesn’t “do photography” so a few years ago she had someone’s kid who “knows photo” come in and take a look at the...

So the surgery is scheduled for next Thursday.
This means a lot of things.
It should take three to four weeks to recover at which point I’ll start intense physical therapy. I’ll be staying at my parents at first so I don’t have to worry about stairs (I feel really old when I say that) before coming back home, and thankfully Richard will be off for Christmas break so...
